v1.8 (AR View: Major Improvements)
- AR View: Uses a perspective projection for increased path accuracy.
- AR View: (2.3+) uses the camera reported field of view. For 2.1+, pinch-zoom will still adjust the field of view.
- AR View: (2.3+) can use the Rotation Vector sensor which integrates the Gyroscope if present, for a much smoother display. To try this, un-check “Use Classic Sensors.”
- AR View: (2.3+) AR View will use natural orientation of the device (portrait for most phones).
- AR View: For compatibility reasons, sensor settings and screen orientation are configurable via preferences.
